Exciting....

...day ahead of me.

Tonight I am going to the Griffith Park Observatory for my birthday. My birthday isn't until tomorrow, but I want to go tonight so that I can have my special birthday dinner tomorrow night.

Today so far has been great. I played Guitar Hero III this morning because I had nothing better to do. And guess what? I GOT 5 STARS WITH A 147 NOTE STREAK!! I played the song "Kool Thing" by Sonic Youth. It was hard. I beat my brother's best score! See! I have proof! The picture is a bit blurry because I took it off the TV haha

Happy Christmas!!

Yeah thats right....HAPPY....I'm getting tired of saying "Merry". It reminds me of the hobbit in Lord of the Rings. haha Everytime someone says "Merry Christmas!" I think of Merry with a Santa hat on. hahhahahha random i know...

So, my Christmas was better than I thought it would be. My family had the annual Christmas Eve party at my grandma's house. While my family spent the whole day cleaning and cooking, I felt in the way. I ended up peeling a million potatoes. My hands really hurt afterward. It got better once the party actually started. I wore a while long sleeved shirt under the red shirt i wore when i went shopping with the Jonas Brothers and I did really nothing with my hair. It curled naturally. People kept saying "I love your hair! Did it take a long time to do?" my answer was that i didnt do anything to my hair. haha I was starving so I ate really fast. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes (thanks to me! woo woo!), green bean cassorole, and tamales. I ate like there was no tomorrow! I was the first one finished and I probably had the most food. Bad I know...
At this time we usually do our little Christmas play. I wouldnt really call it a play. It is more like my younger cousins dressing up as Mary and Joseph and the older cousins reading the Nativity story from the Bible. Pretty much my whole life I have been an angel. At least this time I didnt have to read. My cousins Gabby and Cristina were also angels. We are the same age so we are like the three muskateers. We called ourselves "Jesus's Angels" and posed like Charlie's Angels. haha Present time! Gabby was my Secret Santa. She got me a cute tinkerbell purse and the Enchanted soundtrack! From the rest of my family i got a Fall Out Boy CD, money, Walmart gift card, and a Starbucks gift card. My mom got me this really cool Starfinder kit, new happy bunny pjs, socks, jewlery, and a new makeup bag. My dad got me...*drumroll please*.....A FLIP VIDEO!!!! YES!!!! I have been playing with it since the moment I got it.
Well that was Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day..after the whole mandatory church thing, we went to the movies. Just me, my mom, and my sister. We saw "P.S. I love you" and "Juno". Both we really good. I don't think I will have any popcorn for a while...bleh.....haha Oh yeah...that morning I also watched the Disney Christmas Day parade!!! I watched up until the Jonas Brothers performed then turned it off. They looked and sounded AH-MAZING!

I hate the feeling...

...of not being in the Christmas spirit.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I count day the months, weeks, and days until the Christmas season. I start listening to Christmas music in August. This year feels different. The holiday season came too fast. It was like "whoa! Christmas already?!?!" I barely did some Christmas shopping today. I haven't listened to Christmas music too much this year. I missed decorating the trees. I haven't made Christmas cookies yet. I just feel awful. Is this season supposed to feel depressing? It does to me.
I HATE FEELING LIKE THIS!!!
But at least I am not the only one, a lot of people I have talked to feel the same way.
Weird....

I want to love Christmas again.
The only thing that has helped was the wonderful Christmas package the amazing Samantha sent me. (Thanks long lost sister!)

I hope things get better when my cousin comes tomorrow.

I don't know why it bothers me...

...but today in US History we did an activity. We all wrote our names on pieces of paper and passed them around the room. People would write something about you when they got your paper. I wrote things like:
"So cool that ice cubes are jealous"
"Super Genius"
"Awesome style and cool hair"

When I got my paper back I saw the same three words:
smart, nice, quiet.

WHAT?! That is the best they could do? No originality! Someone even wrote "a girl" and "who?" I have no clue why it bothers me so much. Even my teacher just put "smart, quiet, cool". It saddens me that my classmates don't see me. Am I only the girl in the back who keeps to herself and knows a lot?
I admit that I am not too chatty in school (so unlike who I really am) and I am overly studious.

Oh well, I just hope they will think differently of me in the future.
haha and my favorite was from my friend, Damon. He wrote "the Queen on B**chery" hahahahha he thinks I am mean...
